Who We Are (Data Controller)
Tradifox.com is operated by Wewo, which acts as the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with this website. If you have any questions about privacy, data protection or this policy, you can reach us at any time at support@tradifox.com. This is the single contact point for all privacy matters relating to Tradifox.
What We Collect on This Website
Tradifox is a static website. There are no user accounts, no login areas, no contact forms and no backend database behind the pages you visit. We ourselves collect no personal data through the site.
When you open a page, your browser sends a request to our hosting provider so the page can be delivered to you. Like virtually every website on the internet, the hosting provider may process standard technical data — such as your IP address, browser type (user agent) and the time of the request — in server logs. This processing happens to deliver the site reliably and securely and to defend against abuse, based on legitimate interest. These logs are not used to build profiles of visitors.
What We Do NOT Collect
We hold no account data, because there are no accounts. We store no form submissions, because there are no forms. We keep no newsletter lists, run no first-party analytics and build no tracking profiles of our visitors. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
If you email us at support@tradifox.com, we use your message and email address only to answer you. Your address is never added to any marketing list.
Third-Party Services and Embeds
A small number of features on Tradifox rely on external services, and it is important you know about them.
Weather widget. Our weather page fetches forecast data directly from the Open-Meteo API. No API key and no account are involved, but Open-Meteo receives your IP address as a technical part of the request your browser makes.
News widget. Headlines on our news page are loaded through an RSS-to-JSON conversion service (rss2json.com). When the widget loads, that service receives your IP address as part of the request.
Advertising and affiliate networks. Ad blocks and affiliate links on Tradifox are served by third-party networks. These networks may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure clicks and attribute commissions. They act under their own privacy policies, which we link wherever technically possible.
All widgets fail gracefully: if a third-party service is unavailable or blocked, the rest of the site continues to work normally.
Cookies
Tradifox itself sets no tracking cookies. Third-party advertising and affiliate partners may set cookies when their content loads or when you click an affiliate link. You can find full details, including how to manage or block these cookies, in our Cookie Policy.
Your Rights
Under data protection law you have the right of access to personal data held about you, the right to rectification of inaccurate data, the right to erasure, the right to restriction of processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@tradifox.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Legal Basis and Your Local Law
If you visit Tradifox from the United Kingdom, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 apply to you, and complaints can be made to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). For visitors from the European Union and the European Economic Area, the EU GDPR is the applicable baseline, and you may complain to the supervisory authority in your own country. Whichever regime applies to you, the substance is the same: we minimise data, we name our third parties, and you keep full control of your rights.
Contact and Complaints
